Enrolment information
Getting started
The first step in the enrolment process* is to complete an enrolment form.
Within the form, there is a provision to upload your child’s
Birth certificate**
Immunisation record**
Please ensure you put in both your and your child’s Name, DOB and CRN*** correctly, as this needs to correspond with Centrelink’s data (for CCS to be applied).
* Please allow up to 2 weeks for the enrolment process to be complete and up to 6 weeks for CCS to be approved.
**Both documents need to be on file before care can commence.
***If you do not yet have a CRN (Centrelink Customer Reference Number) we can add it later once your Centrelink enrolment is finalised.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Government subsidy for families to reduce their childcare fees. The subsidy rate you are entitled to is determined by a combination of:
An activity test
An income test
The maximum hourly rate cap for Centre-based daycare
You must also meet residency and immunisation requirements to be eligible to receive the CCS.
The subsidy is paid directly to the Centre and Gumnuts will invoice you for the difference in cost, or ‘gap fee’.
If you wish to receive Child Care Subsidy, you will need to apply through the Centrelink section of your MyGov account.
Immunisation
As per the Public Health Act (2016), all children enrolled in an early childhood education and care service must stay up to date with the vaccination schedule provided free by the National Immunisation Program (NIP). Evidence of vaccination must be provided before confirmation of enrolment and be kept up-to-date in line with immunisation schedule.
